Jaclynn R. Fisher, O.D.

Dr. Jaclynn Fisher graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. She graduated Cum Lade from Southern College of Optometry in 2008. White at SCO, Dr. Fisher was a member of the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa and earned the Clinical Skills Award. Dr. Fisher’s primary interests include pediatric eye care, amblyopia, myopia control, contact lens, and primary eyecare. Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Fisher’s interest in optometry began in 1998 when she worked part time as a technician alongside Margie York, OD and Cynthia Fleitman, OD during high school and summers during college. Following optometry school, Dr. Fisher briefly worked at York Eye Associates before moving so her husband Eric could attend dental school. She then spent 11 years working at Pediatric Eye Specialists in Fort Worth until she and Eric moved their family back to their hometown of Muenster. Their children are Grayson, Nolan, Julia, twins Joshua and Zachary, and Charlotte.

After spending many years seeing only pediatric patients, Dr. Fisher has enjoyed the diversification of the conditions she treats at York Eye Associates with the addition of adults to her schedule.
